"The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel" (Mal. 1:1).

"For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon . . . If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life" (1 Cor. 5:2-4).

God has richly blessed His people with a multitude of materials for our strength and growth as we seek to learn more of Him, fulfill His will, and grow up "in Christ." The resources that follow are the result of certain burdens the Lord has placed upon me.

Now Available!

Royal Chambers. - 416 pages includes: The Royal Invitation, My King, Royal Commandments, Royal Bounty, Kept for the Master's Use, Loyal Responses, Starlight Through the Shadows. Retail price - $15.00.

I am pleased to announce the latest addition to the books published by Sentinel Publications: Royal Chambers. This last - a devotional - is a reprint of all seven devotionals of Frances Havergal.

She was known as the consecration poet, and her writings reflect just that. Hers was a life filled with the spirit, and consumed with spirit thoughts. In the past the seven pocket series devotionals she authored were printed separately. Now, for the first time, all seven have been included in one publication: The Royal Invitation; My King; Royal Commandments; Royal Bounty; Kept for the Master’s Use; Loyal Responses; and Starlight Through the Shadows, all made available in one book.

With this last book, Royal Chamber, Sentinel Publications now offers a full range of materials to ensure that the saints can find a wholesome and well rounded diet of spiritual nourishment at reasonable prices: Two compilations (offering powerful insights from the works of Watchman Nee and Robert Govett); two biographies (of the spirit filled lives of A. N. Groves and Jessie Penn-Lewis); and the Havergal devotional.

Memoirs of the Late Anthony Norris Groves.
450 pages. Includes the pamphlet Christian Devotednesss. Retail price - $15.00.

In missionary matters the importance of Anthony Norris Groves cannot be underestimated. Groves played a primary role in re-establishing the practice of the apostles to proclaim the Gospel as the Lord commanded. He may rightly be regarded as the vanguard and catalyst of the subsequent missionary endeavors of the Plymouth Brethren who, to this day, in proportion to their numbers, have more laborers on the mission field than that of any other Christian group or denomination. “For His name’s sake they went forth taking nothing of the Gentiles” (3 John 7); looking to the Lord alone for support.

The author of “Christian Devotedness,” a booklet expounding the Bible’s teaching and attitude toward material possessions, his views have had a profound impact on countless lives for the last century and a half. One such individual was a young Prussian who settled in Britain and later became world famous as the founder of the orphanages that bear his name in the city of Bristol, George Müller.

In walk and life He bore this testimony: The basis of our fellowship is the life we have in the Christ. Our communion is one of life and love more than doctrine and opinion. Our oneness in the life of God through Christ Jesus should manifest a stronger bond than that of any organization or denomination. “To make myself one in heart with all God’s children, is one of the principles I have ever held.”

“. . . let me live and die with such as occupy themselves with beholding the beauty of the Lord, rather than with detecting and judging evil in their brethren.”

Secrets To Spiritual Power, by Sentinel Kulp.
A compilation of spiritual insights from the writings of Watchman Nee. Retail price - $12.99.

From the Publisher: Watchman Nee experienced such a close walk with the Lord that many remarkable insights into triumphant Christian living were revealed to him by the Holy Spirit. Now, through this unique collection, these truths are available to you so that you can have that same kind of vibrant relationship with God.

Kim, from Ontario writes on October 1, 2000:
My husband and I both read your book. I wanted to write and tell you how truly blessed we were and how God gave us light and new hope in it. We've read a lot of books but never were so blessed as we were with this one. We both love the writings of Watchman Nee books, but have such a hard time understanding all of them. This is a book every Christian should read. We have been saved for over twenty years now and have wavered to and fro . . . . I can't count the number of times I was so unsure of my salvation. Through reading this book, God granted mercy and grace for us to see His true salvation . . . I finally don't have to struggle and strive for righteousness in my own strength because of what the Lord has revealed through this book. For the first time I can praise Him through the trials and mean it.

Gleanings From Robert Govett, by Sentinel Kulp.
A compilation of insights from the many writings of Robert Govett. Retail price - $12.99.

Spurgeon said of Govett, "He was a hundred years ahead of his time, . . ." He valued his writings as "sifted gold."

Synopsis of the Book: Robert Govett was born in 1813 and died in 1901. A fellow of Worcester College, Oxford, he possessed brilliant intellectual gifts and became highly respected by peers of his day. With an acute ability or gifting to use logic to weed out any weakness in a point of theology few men equalled him in ordered debate. As an author of numerous books and pamphlets, and a pastor of an independent fellowship at Norwich, England, Govett is best known for his insights concerning the judgment seat, believer's rewards, and the more practical aspects of sanctification. With his intense devotion to the Scriptures over the course of his lifelong study of the Word he also developed quite an understanding of the meaning behind many of the types, shadows, and symbols of Scripture.

Though in recent years knowledge of his ministry and his message has been limited to a relatively small number of Bible scholars, this book places, within the reach of the Christian of our day, many of the deeper truths of Scripture; truths that burned in the hearts of Christians such as, Hudson Taylor, G. H. Pember, Evan Roberts and Jessie Penn Lewis, over a century ago. Containing almost three-hundred pages of powerful insights "gleaned" from his numerous writings, a great portion of what he attained from over sixty years of ministry and study is now available through this book in an easy to read format.

Terry writes: Fine introduction to the mysteries of the coming kingdom. August 16, 1999.
Mr. Kulp has sifted the essential teachings of Robert Govett from literally thousands of pages published during the mid to late nineteenth century, in England. Govett was probably the greatest theologian writing in English before Pember. He was also apparently the first to promulgate the truth that not all Christian believers will inherit the millennium age. There is probably no better starting point for the hungry believer interested in mining the secrets of the Word than this book. How blessed, indeed, is the Christian who finds this and studies it.

Jessie Penn-Lewis, A Memoir.
A reprint of the original biography by Mary Garrard. Retail price - $12.99.

Her day, was much like ours: the "message of the Cross" was rarely preached; except in its first application to the forgiveness of sins through the Blood of the Lamb. The half-forgotten truth God ordained her to proclaim was "the Cross that breaks the power of cancelled sin." This only occurs as the believer learns to identify with Christ in His death to sin and the world. In learning to be "crucified with Christ," the believer is led into a fellowship with Christ that alone enables to obey the Lord's injunction, "take up the cross and follow Me." It is a conformity in likeness to the Lamb. p197

Jessie Penn-Lewis was well known among those involved in the deeper life movement around the turn of the century. She presided over all the principle meetings of the Swanwick conference of 1927, and was a frequent speaker at the Keswick and Llandrindod conventions. Additionally, she collaborated with Evan Roberts on what has become the premier and classic work on spiritual warfare, War on the Saints.
